There is nothing more satisfying than making a big task feel small. By that I mean revealing simplicity out of seemingly complex problem spaces. Often, this comes down to breaking processes up into manageable pieces, sorting for importance and focusing on what matters most for the stakeholders involved.

 

There’s no easy way around it. For me, this entails visualizing, process mapping, my undivided attention, and many, many post-it notes.

 

At the X we’re dealing with a lot of interesting problems. We’re seeing a large-scale shift towards open innovation but the question remains; what’s the best way to help our partners capture the value it create? I find this fascinating and would love to work on this problem further.
